Quinte West OPP officer charged after cruiser crash

A one-year constable with Quinte West OPP has been charged after a crash in the city yesterday (Tuesday).

Investigators say the cruiser hit a civilian vehicle on Front Street around 12:15 p.m. and nobody was injured.

The officer has been charged with following too closely under the Highway Traffic Act.
