Oxford County OPP officer charged after collision

An Oxford OPP officer has been charged after a collision on Broadway in Tillsonburg on May 11, police said Thursday.

Const. Christopher Morris, a 19-year member of the detachment, faces a Highway Traffic Act charge of starting from a stopped position — not in safety, after the two-vehicle crash, OPP said Thursday.

OPP constable issued provincial offence notice

A member of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police has been charged following a collision that occurred May 11 on Broadway in Tillsonburg.

As a result of the investigation into the two-vehicle collision, Provincial Constable Christopher Morris, a 19-year member of the Oxford County OPP has been issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Start From Stopped Position - Not In Safety contrary to Section 142(2) of the Highway Traffic Act.
