Quinte West OPP member injured during a serious collision

A member of the Quinte West OPP was the driver injured during a serious collision from Friday night.

Quinte West OPP and other emergency officials were called to 1538 Frankford-Stirling Road, near Oak Hills Golf Club, where a driver was ejected from a vehicle.

An investigation lasted about 12 hours, which closed several local roads.

An Ornge Air Ambulance was also called to the scene, but was not needed.

Alan Detlor was taken to hospital for treatment, however there is no word on his injuries.
