Police budgets

Viewed by many Ontario communities as an untenable financial burden, OPP costs continue to rise. Though often justified in the name of “public safety,” these escalating expenses raise a critical question: Who will rein in these costs, and at what price?

We constantly hear about cuts to health care and hospitals laying off bla bla bla

Or Teachers and schools constantly being scrutinized (I am not a teacher)

WHY DO WE NEVER HEAR ABOUT POLICE LAY OFFS ? OR BUDGET CUTS ?

If you want to know who REALLY runs this country go to a police service union meeting. DISGUSTING !

I for one would rather trim a TON of fat off our policing budgets and transfer it directly into education.

If we educate people properly they will grow up with a sense of self value and the skills needed to contribute to society.
