Oxford County OPP officer charged after OPP cruiser hits parked car

An Oxford County OPP officer has been charged with making an unsafe start after allegedly hitting a parked car with her cruiser.

Police say the collision occurred May 31, on Blandford Street in Innerkip.

According to an OPP press release, the cruiser was reversing out of a driveway when it hit a vehicle parked on the other side of the road.

While both vehicles received some damage, nobody was hurt.

Const. Nancy Phillips was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
