Keep an eye out for lost Taser: Dufferin OPP

Dufferin OPP have misplaced a Taser and are asking the public to help locate it.

During a recent audit, conducted by the Dufferin OPP detachment, it was determined that a Taser X26E Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) with the serial number X00408075 could not be accounted for.

OPP believe the Taser could be lost somewhere within the Dufferin County area after a thorough and detailed search and investigation.

The public is asked to not handle the piece of equipment to avoid injury but that if anyone knows where it may be to return it immediately and contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
