An OPP cruiser was involved in a Christmas Day collision on Hwy. 527.
The two-vehicle crash closed the highway for several hours in both directions near Waiweg Lake, 20 kilometres South of Armstrong.
No injuries were reported.

OPP investigate Christmas Day crash involving police cruiser
No injuries reported, but two vehicles sustained heavy damage
Ontario Provincial Police in Armstrong are investigating a collision involving a police cruiser and another passenger vehicle.
The crash happened on Christmas Day on Highway 527, about 20 km south of Armstrong.
Sgt. Greg Given of the OPP said no one was injured in the collision, but both vehicles suffered heavy damage and could not be driven after the collision.
Given said the crash closed the Armstrong highway in both directions for approximately an hour.
