A woman made a complaint to Barrie police officers Tues., June 4 about an alleged assault by her husband.
Police said her husband is an OPP officer, and the domestic violence unit started an investigation.
The officer was charged with sexual assault and had a bail hearing Friday.
Police didn’t release his name in order to protect the identity of the victim.
