Police say the cruiser rear-ended a transport truck in whiteout conditions between Blyth and Auburn

A section of Blyth Road was closed between Auburn and Blyth for over two hours, due to a collision involving an OPP cruiser and an transport truck.

Police say the cruiser rear-ended the transport in whiteout conditions just before 1pm Tuesday.

OPP tell us the male officer in the cruiser suffered a minor injury in the crash, and was taken to hospital.
