City police are investigating after an Ontario Provincial Police SUV vehicle and a car were involved in a T-bone collision on Wednesday afternoon at Lansdowne St. E. and Ashburnham Dr. in Peterborough's southeast end.
A woman was taken by paramedics to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of injuries.
The police officer was not hurt.
The collision happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The response and investigation snarled traffic in the area, blocking lanes although the intersection remained open.
