Post by Michael Jack »

A Greater Sudbury man has been designated a dangerous offender.

Michael Tomasik is a former Ontario Provincial Police auxiliary officer who was found guilty in 2016 of eight charges related to hiring prostitutes to abduct and sexually assault children.

During a hearing on Monday, Tomasik was declared a dangerous offender and sentenced to an additional three years, to be followed by 10 years of supervision.

Tomasik has already served three years behind bars.
