OPP cruiser headed to call involved in crash in Carleton Place

No one was hurt when a marked Ontario Provincial Police cruiser heading to an emergency call collided with another vehicle in Carleton Place on Sunday afternoon, police said.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 7 and McNeely Avenue at 3:15 p.m., according to Lanark County OPP.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Witnesses were asked to call Lanark County OPP at 1 (888) 310-1122.
