(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) - Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a motor vehicle collision that took place around 9:27 pm on July 03, 2024.

Police along with fire and EMS were dispatched to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 35 and Glenarm Road.

Two drivers and two passengers were noted to have minor injuries.

Hwy 35 at Glenarm Road was closed while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

SIU did not evoke their mandate in this incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has video/dash camera footage of the collision and has not spoken with police is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
