Ex-OPP officer found guilty of murdering woman gets life in prison

A former OPP officer found guilty of murdering a Stouffville woman has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole for 15 years.

Paul Kenyon was found guilty of second degree murder in the 2010 death of Marion Deacon.

Her body was found in a house fire but police say she died of multiple injuries to the head.

Kenyon was found injured but conscious outside the home. He has been in custody since March 2010.
