OPP say marked police vehicle was struck while performing U-turn along Main Street.

An incident in Exeter has led to a traffic charge against a member of the Ontario Provincial Police.

Reports say the officer was driving a fully marked OPP vehicle along northbound Main Street in late September, when attempting to perform a U-turn.

Officers say the cruiser was struck by a pickup truck travelling in the same direction.

Constable Scott Mosey, a one year member of the Huron OPP detachment, has been charged with Turn Not In Safety.
